Beth & Jack’s Stylish Summer Wedding

Beth & Jack’s Stylish Summer Wedding

We are so excited to be starting our ‘Real Wedding’ feature on our new blog, and what a gorgeous wedding to be our first post! Beth and Jack’s day was classic, yet modern with family and friends helping to create all the little details that make a wedding day unique.

So where did their story begin?

We got engaged in the Scottish highlands just before the lockdown and fortunately ended up taking our time with the wedding so we were out of the lockdowns by the time it came around!

Beth and Jack booked their wedding leaving 2 and a half years to take their time and enjoy the planning process. We asked them what lead to them choosing Thirsk Lodge Barns for their wedding;

Letty’s vision and Letty herself!! The best venue and the best team!

Beth and Jack sourced their suppliers using recommendations from others, searching on Instagram and looking in the Thirsk area. However, they had also had some very talented family and friends; doing the flower arrangements themselves, with Beth’s Dad illustrating flowers for their stationery and her sister baking the cake!

We really loved the seasonal british blooms they chose in an array of pinks and purples, with each table named after a flower.

And of course, we can’t not mention their incredibly stylish wedding attire. Beth looked simply stunning in her gown from Marrime in Jesmond and Jack’s suit from Whitfield and Ward complimented it perfectly. We absolutely loved the bridal bow instead of a veil.

Beth and Jack’s day was full of love, happiness and emotion, so it is no surprise that the speeches were their favourite part of their day. Closely followed by the dancing of course!

What we loved the most about Beth and Jack’s day was how much they smiled all day. A truly wonderful wedding, and couple!
